“Temperlite,” “Therlite,” and “Tempered” all indicate that the windshield is a type of tempered glass, while “Laminated” or “Lamisafe” indicates that it is a laminated auto glass. You may also see “Tintex,” which means it is a type of slightly tinted glass.
